Light

Wavelength is the distance between any point on a wave to the same point on the next wave. Wavelength has units of distance (meters). Frequency is the number of wave cycles that pass by a point in a given amount of time; the more waves that pass, the higher the wave frequency. Frequency has units of cycles per unit time (per second, s-1) also known as Hertz.
