Explanation:
This Java applet simulates a microscopic model for an ideal gas. As discussed in Sections 12.4 and 12.5, a gas is considered ideal when there is no interaction between the molecules and when collisions between the the molecules and the container walls are elastic. The behavior of the molecules is described by Equation 12.6b.
