15.4 Sound Waves Sound Harmonics

Explanation: You can use this utility to sample sounds of different frequencies. You can make a rough check of your audible range and compare it to the one given in Section 15.4. Note that the speakers of your computer may not be able to produce the sound range required. You can use the utility to listen to pure tone waves as well as more complicated waveforms. You can also use it to do a Fourier analysis of a wave: identify the pure tone components of the waveform.
