| Student Resources Chapter 9: Unique Interview Types Chapter Summaries There are three categories of unique interviews: one-on-one interviews, multiple-person interviews, and technologically involved interviews. The different types of unique one-on-one interviews are screening, impromptu, stress, reality, meal, and counseling/health interviews. The two types of multiple-person interviews are panel interviews and group interviews. Panel interviews require the interviewee to interview with several different individuals. Group interviews, which consist of one interviewer and several interviewees interviewing together, allow the interviewer to see how well interviewees work with other applicants. Technologically involved interviews include telephone interviews and teleconferences.
