Student Resources Chapter 9: After the Presentation Chapter Summary You should be prepared to answer questions from the audience regarding all aspects of your speech. The four basic questions that you should anticipate are preplanned questions, questions during the presentation, questions after the presentation in front of the audience, and one-on-one questions after the presentation. Different types of multimedia presentations aids encourage different types of questioning. Once a speech has concluded, you should conduct a presentation aid evaluation. This allows you to determine the effectiveness of the multimedia used. Determining the strengths and weaknesses of each multimedia presentation aid used is particularly helpful if you are going to reuse the speech. If you are going to use a past speech with a new audience, you should conduct a comparison appraisal to determine whether the past speech outcome in keeping with the anticipated outcome of the future presentation. Once this is determined, a change plan should be implemented to effectively modify the past presentation.
