Chapter 2 - Electrical Quantities
and Units
Chapter Overview
If you were describing a shopping trip to the grocery store, you would probably use many quantities and units in your description. You might start out by telling the distance (a quantity) in blocks or miles (units) to the store. In describing what you purchased, you could use many quantities and units, such as pounds of sugar, heads of lettuce, cans of soup, quarts of milk, dozens of eggs, or bars of soap.
In describing electric circuits, you also need to use quantities and units. This chapter tells you about many of the basic electrical quantities and units.
