Julia Burdge's presentation of entropy is among the best of any textbook on the market today because it provides a molecular description of entropy with simple physical examples without any vague references to disorder. This description makes a difficult topic accessible to my students by developing a physical picture of the energy statistics that are responsible for entropy.
