Communication process

There are seven elements to the communication process.  Speaker, listener, message, channel, feedback, interference, and situation.

Recognizing listening problems

Poor concentration, treating every point as equally important, anticipating, focusing on externals.

Improving your listening skills

Resist distractions, listen to the message, suspend judgment, stay focused.
