Mrs. Nichlos Came to My Resue

Mrs. Sarah Nichlos was my senior English teacher. She was the best teacher I ever had in the subject English. During my high school years, I had trouble chosing a major for college. My major woould be Computer Science or English Education. Mrs. Nichlos knew that I was an excellent student. She knew whatever profession I chose, I wanted to make a difference in people lives. She explains that I was more concern about making a future for myself than other classmates. She also knew my favorite subject was English and I love to read and write.

So one day, my classmates and I started to fill out some admission applications for college. When it came to the word, "Major", I did not know what to write. So, I turned my card into Mrs. Nichlos, leaving the line "Major" blanked. Later on during the week, Mrs. Nichlos came to my rescue. She told me about her college years and what to expect as being a english major. She informed me that making a profession as a english teacher was a wonderful ideal. She also inspired me to major in english because of my excellent knowledge of literature and grammar errors.
