Dreams are not out of Reach

As I approached the main office of Welleby Elementary, I started to see all my dreams come true. I was getting ready to start off my education by observing a fifth grade class. This could not have been more perfect; when I am ready to start my career I would like to be a fifth grade teacher. I walk up the steps to Ms. Francos’s class, I had butterflies in my stomach not because I was nervous but because I was finally on my way to becoming a teacher I have always dreamt I would be. I walked into her class and introduced myself to her; she was extremely nice, friendly and easy to talk to, overall a wonderful person. She introduced me to the class as Miss. Acquavita, right then I felt like I was meant be there, that soon I would be in this situation with my own class and I was ready for it. She was explaining a few things to me, such as her procedures and ways of doing things with her children, her discipline system and her schedule for the day. Whenever she did something she would explain in to me.She was a wonderful teacher, who always had the children’s attention when teaching and just connected with the children exceptionably. I could not wait until I am where she is and had that same teaching skills and connection with her children as she did. Ms. Francos also showed me her plan book and explained tome how she taught and graded. Ms.Francos was an inspirational teacher she taught me a lot about how to manage children and the class, as well as the disruptive students or the ones that crave for your attention. Teachers always have to have patience too, without patience you could not teach. Teaching has always been my desire, my dream, my passion, and my heart; Ms. Francos's class helped my desire even more and my want to pursue this career to my fullest. I am willing to take on as many challenges as it takes, I know there will be many, and to become a teacher that is as well loved, respected, and connected as Ms. Francos was to her children.
