One of my most memorable teachers was Mrs. Moye; she was my keyboarding teacher. One of the reasons she stood out the most in my high school years was because she always came to class full of enegry. Never once did I ever see her frown in my 3 years out at Deerfield Beach High School. Never a frown, despite all of the rude students she had to encounter each morning. She came in eager to teach and guide us forward in life. I always remember her saying, "You will need these computer skills for college or work, so it is best you learn them now." Sure enough was she right. If I had not mastered keyboarding, I would have never been able to type all my papers and my roommates' papers at the last minute. Everytime I go by Deerfield High I make sure she is the first teacher I go speak to. Her joy also made me want to be a teacher, because she never let her spirits get down. And it is like the students, made her happy. She was and is always willing to talk to a student or just lend a ear. She is just so wonderful, and I aspire to touch lives and be just like her. A great teacher!
