Class Acts - Fall 2000

As you open the first pages of this book, you come across a feature called Class Acts. Throughout the text, Class Acts offer personal insights about teaching and schooling, often written by students like you. Class Acts add a personal dimension to the text's coverage -- a critical component to the personal connection so many of us feel toward teaching. We hope that they help you connect with teaching on a personal level. In fact, as we receive more of these personal stories, we will add them to this Web page.

If you have a personal story of how a teacher or student impacted you in a special way, a Class Act about your own experience that you would be willing to share, than we invite you to send it to us, for inclusion on this Web page or possibly even in the next edition of the textbook. Like the other authors, you will receive full credit for your work -- or stay anonymous, if you choose. Either way, others may benefit from your experience.
