Remember
the Titans
Movie Review by: Nicole Schreiber, Florida Atlantic University
This movie was very very good. It of course is one of my favorites to begin with but to take a look at the movie from an educational perspective it was 10 times better. This not only has to do with the game of football, but also what it takes to really be part of a team and work with one another. Also it is very informational about all the segregation that happened during that time period and really gave me a taste of what people were doing and going through at the time. It was really a big problem that america faced and it was really time for us to get over it. Not only were the adults acting so immature and couldn't see that everyone is equal no matter what race, but it did rub off on the children of America. And you were really mature, i think, if you could see past the color of someones skin and see them from the inside because that is the real person, who they are on the inside not the outside! I also love this movie because it does take place where i lived for about 3 years and my high school was a part of it!!!!
