In these interviews, conducted by the textbook authors, Nicholas Delbanco and Alan Cheuse, the writers talk directly to you, the student. What they had to say will intrigue, delight, encourage, and maybe even shock you. Watch. Listen. Learn from today’s most renowned writers. They have plenty to share with you!

In addition to these exclusive interviews, you will also have access to a wealth of resources to help you in researching, writing, and editing about literature and across the curriculum. You will also find a complete set of diagnostic tools as well as interactive tutorials to help you write grammatically, evaluate research sources, avoid plagiarism, and more. To find resources noted in your textbook, simply enter the key term into the search box to locate.

To get started with Connect Literature, simply click on the link below, select “first time registration, and enter the registration code that appears on the back of your access card.

Once you have entered the registration code, you will be asked to fill out a form with your name, state, school, email address, and your desired password. Be sure to make note of the email address and password that you use—this will serve as your log-in. Once you’ve submitted the registration information, return to the link above and log-in. Once you’re on the site, click on “help” in the top navigation for more information on using Connect Literature.
