2. Mystery Disease

Have been few medical mysteries so baffling as the one that
introduced "Legionnaire's disease." Were several theories
about the causes of this sometimes fatal illness when it first
appeared in 1976 at an American Legion convention. Later,
was discovered that the bacteria that cause the disease can be
spread through ventilation systems of hotels, factories, and
office buildings. Therefore, is easy for hundreds of people to
become infected at the same time.
