Not: The people were angries.
But: The people were angry.
11. Use singular, not plural, nouns after phrases such as kind
of, type of, sort of, and style of.
12. Use plural nouns after phrases such as kinds of, types of,
sorts of; and styles of.
Note: Noncount nouns are always singular.
