Taking It to the Net
Read a historical document. Choose a document that interests you by going to the Netscape search site (netscape.com) and conducting a search by entering "historical documents." After finding a document, read it, and summarize it in a short essay.
Practice your listening skills. Visit the CNN video archives (www.cnn.com/videoselect/) and choose a speech to which you can listen. During the speech, take notes, and later write a summary of the speech.
