Laurie Blass Bio

Laurie Blass is an instructional designer for both print and interactive media. She holds an M.A. in Linguistics and a TESL certificate, and taught college writing and English as a Second Language both in the United States and abroad. The author of several ESL textbooks, Laurie has also worked as a freelance writer and editor in business and academic publishing. In 1996, she co-founded Heuristix, an instructional design company in Northern California that provides digital content and website development for a wide range of educational purposes.
