About the Authors


Anke Finger is Assistant Professor of German at Texas A&M University. She received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Brandeis University. She was a lecturer at Boston College and is a co-author of the Workbook and Lab Manual Weiter!,(Wiley) accompanying Isabelle Saluen's intermediate textbook Weiter! (Wiley) As language coordinator of the first-year German program at Texas A&M University, her interests in second language acquisition include the teaching of cultural and oral proficiency and CALL. She has also written on comparative aspects of literature and art in German and American culture.
