  4. Define compliance, and provide examples of common techniques to encourage compliance.
  5. Define group, and explain how individuals’ roles in groups affect their thoughts and behavior.
  6. Compare and contrast social facilitation and social loafing.
  7. Explain how groups can influence individual decision making .
  8. Distinguish between majority and minority influence.
  9. Explain the causes of aggression according to the following theoretical frameworks: biological, social learning, and frustration-aggression.
  10. Discuss the research on bystander intervention, and explain why the tendency to help decreases as the number of bystanders increases.
  11. Discuss the other factors that influence the helping behaviors.
  12. Discuss the relationship between pornography, aggression, and rape, and identify those aspect(s) of pornography that are most closely related to increases in sexually related aggression.
