The scientific method is a way
of gaining knowledge. All people strive to gain knowledge,
and there are many different ways to gain knowledge. These
ways of gaining knowledge are seen in the different academic
departments of universities, for example, philosophy,
literature, arts, mathematics, and the sciences. As you
continue your course work and complete your degree, you
will see that each of these disciplines has a unique method
for gaining knowledge about the world and the human condition.
