What's This Web Site About?

The Web site will keep current the contents of the printed and online volumes of Introduction to Reference Work, 8^th edition, 2001.

Suggestions of students, teachers and librarians are invited. Email me at katzwilliam@hotmail.com.

The site is arranged by volume, chapter and numerically by page. Each item is keyed to a specific place in the text.

Material includes the additions of specific reference titles and reference works. Corrections, primarily changes in titles, publishers, statistics, etc., are noted. Deletions and additions to the text are included.

The focus, as in the text, is on the practical day-by-day problems and joys of being a reference librarian.
