This lighthearted gavotte--a type of dance-inspired piece--is part of French Suite No.5 in G major for harpshchord by Johann Sebastion Bach. It is in two-part (binary) form and is outlined AABB, because each part is repeated. The two parts differ in length and key but are related in melody and rhythm. Note the piece is in a duple meter.
