goal of the exercise is to write a brief paper on the experience of playing
the game and exploring the linked resources. Some sample guidelines
have been provided for instructors.
After taking
the simulation poll and studying polling techniques, students may wish
to further investigate polling analysis and polling data on the internet
or in the library.
Each student
(or team of students) should write a paper answering the following
questions:

in which questions are asked, as well as their order, relate to poll results,
and what general rules about polling do each of these conclusions imply?

known subset of the poll and sample adequacy affect the poll results?

purposes of political polling by large, independent organizations, as opposed
