Instructor's Manual/ Test Bank (0-07-303409-6) This revamped Instructor's Manual (IM) gives the instructor both an overview and an in-depth picture of each chapter of the text. The IM consists of Chapter Learning Objectives, a "Focus and Main Points" section, a Chapter Summary, a List of Major Concepts, a Comprehensive Lecture Outline, and a Complementary Lecture Topics section. The IM was prepared by Professor David Garrison of Colin County Community College.
The IM is followed by the Test Bank (TB) material for each chapter. The TB file contains over 1700 questions. For most chapters, there are 60 multiple-choice questions and 20 true-false and five essay/short answer questions. The answer key accompanies the questions on a chapter-by-chapter basis.
Computerized Test Bank (Windows- 0-07-303408-8 and MAC- 0-07-303407-X) In addition to the printed TB, the test questions are available in a computerized form that enables the user to edit, supplement, scramble, and print various versions of the questions.
Overhead Transparencies (0-07-303733-8) This supplement includes over 50 4-color overheads of graphs, tables, and charts from the fourth edition of The American Democracy.
NEW! Presentation Manager (0-07-303411-8) This new ancillary is an instructor's custom presentation tool and includes Power Point. The CD-ROM contains American Government Power Point slides, an electronic version of the Instructor's Manual, Computerized Test Bank and Overhead Transparencies.
NEW! Video #1 of the "American Government Video Library"(0-07-303414-2) This supplement is the first video of a new library that McGraw-Hill is developing. The 10-minute video covers the timely issue of devolution within American federalism. The video was created and produced by the award-winning Baker-Losco Multimedia Company. Future videos will address other issues of American government.
Website The American Democracy on-line learning center website contains a rich array of resources for students and instructors. The Student Corner contains research links, simulations, links to daily updates, an election supplement, study guide reviewing and testing, crossword puzzles and more. For Instructors, the website includes the Instructor's Manual, Powerpoint presentation, Overhead transparencies. It is password protected.

Study Guide (0-07-303576-9) This revamped Study Guide is designed to assist the student in getting the most out the text and introductory course. It is designed so the student can efficiently review material presented in the text, prepare effectively for test, develop critical thinking skills, and more. Each chapter includes the following sections: Chapter Outline, Chapter Summary, Learning Objectives, Self-Test Section, and Answer Key. The Study Guide was prepared by Professor Mark Byrnes of Middle Tennessee State University.

Student CD-ROM (0-07-303732-X) This new state-of-the-art Student CD-ROM includes an Interactive Study Guide, Simulation Software (topics include election campaigns, public opinion polling, legislative coalitions), Crossword Puzzles, Audio speeches, Printed Historical Speeches, Photos, Interactive exercise.
