Often, it will be desirable to move output to another application such as a word-processing file. This operation will prove especially useful in research methods courses. To do this, copy the table, chart, or plot that you wish to move using the Edit menu. Then open up the target application (for example a word processing file into which you would like to copy the item) and select Paste Special... from the Edit menu. From the list of options, choose Picture. This is the simplest method of including SPSS output in another file. There are other methods which enable you to update the table or chart with SPSS.
