Alicia Ramos received her Ph.D. from The University of Pennsylvania. She has served on the faculties of Barnard College and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Williams College. She is currently Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Romance Languages at Hunter College (CUNY) in New York. She has also taught advanced language and composition and a methodology seminar in the Spanish School at Middlebury College. In addition to publishing in the field of Hispanic literature, Dr. Ramos has co-authored an intermediate conversation text and is on the team of writers for Spanish TV Magazine (McGraw-Hill).
