Interviewing: Principles and Practices
by Charles J. Stewart and William B. Cash

Sales Interview

The sales interview is a specific type of persuasive interview where the interviewer solicits and conducts interviews with one or more "clients" to gather evidence to use when making persuasive sales attempts.  Sales interviews are conducted in a variety of professional settings including retail sales, insurance, automotive, and any other situation where a salesperson interacts with customers or clients.  This activity accompanies chapter 6 of your textbook.
