Interviewing: Principles and Practices
by Charles J. Stewart and William B. Cash

Optional Units

Because Interviewing: Principles and Practices is designed to feature a wide variety of interview situations, you have great latitude in terms of specific units covered in your course.  This section of the website provides information on commonly used units which can be "mixed and matched" depending on the needs of your students and the focus of your course.  For each unit, a general description is provided, relevant chapters are indicated, potential activities are discussed, and a daily lesson plan is suggested.  The daily lesson plans are provided for a three-day-per-week format, however, these lesson plans can be easily adapted for other formats (i.e., two-days-per-week or one-day-per-week).  For convenience, the units are arranged according to chapters of the book.
